Family like branches on a tree, we all grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one
Sometimes it really feels like we are all alone in this crazy chaotic world. It can be easy to fall into that hole of loneliness.
This past weekend my parents visited. Normally I love when my parents visit and this weekend was no exception.
While having drinks at a local bar I really got to talk to my parents as people.
As a child I never fully realized that aside from being a mom and dad my parents were people, ordinary people.
They are my support system, my roots & stability in this crazy chaotic world.
Today I appreciate them.
